Update on Newlands Cross Flyover – Due for Completion 2014

South Dublin Chamber has issued the following information regarding completion of the Newlands Cross flyover. They outline that the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport, Leo Varadkar, made the very welcome announcement that the flyover is to be completed by 2014.

This small piece of what was a major infrastructure programme has caused a bottle neck of traffic affecting everyone on a local level while also diminishing the national network. The flyover is scheduled to be completed by 2014 and will allow free movement of traffic from Cork to Belfast and for all of those in Dublin it will aid free movement between the towns of Tallaght, Clondalkin and Lucan.
